ECLUSE

‘ECLUSE’, French for ‘sluice’, was chosen as the name for the Waasland Port heating network because the steam is sluiced from the Indaver and SLECO waste-to-energy plant to companies in the port. This ambitious, super-strategic project makes the energy supply in the Waasland Port more sustainable and anchors industry in this region.
